High five!

House is still the king of Mondays although it was down 0.1 in A18-49. CBS has still great Mondays with the comedies (The three of them improving week-to-week). As Barney would say, that's a Freeze-frame high-five. NBC is still in trouble even if Heroes was up from 2.3 to 2.4. When you grow up and you are still in trouble, then it means you are in bigger trouble than you thought. Sorry NBC I won't say you deserve it but that's probably Karma for canceling Southland even before it premired its second season.

Wednes-tie ratings

It seems FOX has find a good lineup for Wednesdays and very stable. Both Glee and So You Think You Can Dance (why can't they name the shows shorter, like Glee!) repeated ratings in A18-49. ABC's comedies on the other hand slipped from last week. I'm interested in seeing how Cougar Town performs because although I liked the first episode, I didn't enjoy too much the second and I'm afraid that the ratings will down as well as the quality of the show...
I'm curious how The CW will understand Melrose Place ratings. Would they understand them as 1.3 adding repetitions 0.5 plus original runs 0.8? Or maybe they'll see them as a bad 0.8 on the original runs and an even worse 0.5 on repetitions...We'll have to keep watching (the ratings....and the show).

Down, down, down...

All lineups down except for ABC with the boring DWTS and Castle. I read that in Minneapolis and Milwaukee, ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast was simulcast on the local ABC affiliate. That could be a reason why ABC's numbers were better this week than last week. We'll have to wait for the final numbers to check. I would also like to see ESPN's numbers to see if people turned to cable or they just turned off TVs yesterday. Awful result for NBC with Heroes and even worse for Trauma. With those numbers Leno couldn't do a thing (who would?). Anyway, maybe people just DVR'd Leno to watch it at 11pm as I read many peple was doing (funny that NBC moves Leno from 11pm to 10 pm only for people to record it and watch it later again).

Sunday, Sunday

From American Ryan

In short. Simpsons up and Desperate up (thank god). The rest down (well, more or less...hahahaha) :D
BTW, not a very good start for Three Rivers. As I read somewhere else, if it where NBC it would be good but for CBS...cancellation soon.

Thursday's Anatomy

Another Thursday and another victory for ABC and Grey's Anatomy. Although Grey's won the night, it lost a couple million viewers and some points in A18-49. CSI could maintain its numbers and only dropped 0.1 in A18-49. I wonder if FOX is happy with Fringe results though. I think Fringe would work much better on Mondays after House, but as long as they keep airing new episodes, I don't mind what they do. Flashforward still did good tying Survivor in A18-49 and almost in viewers. It was 10% in the demo against last week but still strong. Any bets on how much it will drop next week or how much it will raise? Having not Grey's Anatomy at 10pm was good for CBS and The Mentalist (up 12% from last week).
