Dreams come true

Press Release

Maranello, 30th September 2009 - Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro announces that it has reached an agreement with the driver Fernando Alonso. The agreement covers three racing seasons, starting in 2010.

The Scuderia’s driver line-up next season will therefore be made up of Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso, with Giancarlo Fisichella in the role of reserve driver.

Kimi Raikkonen will leave the team at the end of this current season, after what has been a rewarding and fruitful partnership, which saw him win the Drivers’ title in 2007. He also played a key role in Ferrari’s taking of the Constructor’s title that same year and in 2008.

“We are very proud to welcome to our team another winning driver, who has demonstrated his amazing talent by winning two World Championships in his career to date,” said Stefano Domenicali. “Of course, we wish to thank Kimi for everything he has done during his time with Ferrari: in his first year with us, he managed to win the Drivers’ title, thus making his contribution to Ferrari’s history and he played a vital role in our taking of the Constructors’ title in 2007 and 2008. Even during a difficult season like this one, he has demonstrated his great talent, with several good results, including a great win in Spa and we are sure that we can share more good times together in the final three races of this season.”

“With common consent, we have agreed to terminate the contract binding me to Ferrari to the end of 2010, one year ahead of schedule,” said Kimi Raikkonen. “I am very sad to be leaving a team with which I have spent three fantastic years, during which time I won plenty of races. Together, we have won 50% of the world titles in that period and I managed to take the Drivers’ title in 2007, thus achieving the target I had set myself at the start of my career. I have always felt at home with everyone here and I will have many happy memories of my time with the team.”

Out of bounds

Does NCIS have limits? I mean, this show grows every week. Not only in viewers but in demos. It's become the new most watched show in America! Is it because CBS picked a good day or because people really like it? I don't know the answer, the thing is, it has its own spin-off and is working very good too. Mysteries of TV I guess.

Living in sin is the new thing

AMAZING!!! Please read the lyrics. This is going to be the new If You Seek Amy!

1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And Im caught in between
Countin
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin

Babe, pick a night
To come out and play
If its alright
What do you say?

Merrier the more
Triple fun that way
Twister on the floor
What do you say?

Are you in
Livin in sin is the new thing (yeah)
Are you in
I am countin!

1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And Im caught in between
Countin
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin

Three is a charm
Two is not the same
I dont see the harm
So are you game?

Lets make a team
Make em say my name
Lovin the extreme
Now are you game?

Are you in
Livin in sin is the new thing
Are you in
I am countin!

1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And Im caught in between
Countin
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin down with 3P
Everybody loves ***

What we do is innocent
Just for fun and nothin meant
If you dont like the company
Lets just do it you and me
You and me
Or three.
Or four.
- On the floor!

1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And Im caught in between
Countin
1, 2, 3

FOX brings viewers to House

Good numbers for House again which led FOX to a victory (not in viewers) but in demos. Disastrous night for NBC with both Heroes and the series premiere of Trauma. They should really start thinking about something else or raising Leno's salary and let him get the 8-10pm slot. Viewers down for How I Met your Mother but demos up, so that's fine for me. Both viewers and demos down for DWTS (which is perfectly fine for me too. Hahahaha). Unbelievably TBBT grew even more and scored more than 13 million viewers and 5.1 in the 18-49 adults. That's amazing (and I think another series high!) Both shows on the CW grew a bit but not much. I just hope the women 18-34 ratings are high enough to keep the shows on air (or at least Gossip Girl).

What's your favorite neighborhood?

Apparently people prefer Spooner Street against Wisteria Lane (or at least young people). Great numbers for the Family Guy season premiere. It was very competitive even against the football on NBC. In general FOX night was very good. Even Brothers repeat had better numbers than the premiere on Friday. That should give the networks a warning that maybe numbers on Friday are not as good not because of the shows but because people just don't watch TV on Fridays. Problems for ABC because Desperate Housewives premiere was the lowest ever (I'd like to wait for next Sunday to see if the numbers go even lower or they maintain). Good numbers also for the Cleveland show premiere. I heard bad comments for the show so let's see if next Sunday it's still as competitive as this last Sunday was.

Fridays still

We changed season, but Fridays are still the same on TV. CBS wins the night while FOX is still wondering what to do to have a decent night. The CW needed just 2 weeks to cancel "The beautiful life". How many weeks do you think FOX will need to cancel Dollhouse? They really tried to make the show work and they even gave it a second chance this year but...I think it's proven that it does not work.

Epic!

Wow. I think Thursday's battles are going to be epic this year. First battle ended. Clear victory for ABC. More than clear! Yesterday night ABC was written all over the place. Grey's Anatomy return was big, and bigger than CSI (although CSI did better than last season finale). But what's more, Grey's Anatomy even did better than The Mentalist at 10 pm. The Mentalist was last year most watched new show and I think next week, without Grey's at 10pm, it will do much better. FOX couldn't do much better because Thursdays are a very difficult night and they behave pretty good against the premieres (FOX wasn't having any premiere yesterday). And lastly, Flashforward premiere did very good! Better than CBS Survivor in ratings and even viewers. That's pretty amazing for a new show. Hope next week it keeps doing good.
