American way

Is young people interested in politics? Reading the demos first reaction would be no, but. I guess numbers are not everything. I think young people proved taht they are interested in politics just in the right moment. That it, voting.
FOX was the only major network not programming Obama's speech. And it worked. Lie to me got the same (slightly better) numbers it did last week and the best part of all, it was a better lead-in for Idol than Obama would have been. Past Obama's speeches has proved that FOX is not the most followed network by far (ok ok...FOX News has a lot of viewers too) so I guess FOX decided not to kill American Idol programming Obama right before.
LOST was obviously up compared to last week episode (it was clip show) but down in viewers compared to last all-new episode two weeks ago. It's fair to say that demos were just the same for them.

Fugitives of the audience

I don't know if NBC is happy seeing Heroes ending this season but I am. I'm thankful they can have a break and hopefully come with some new fresh ideas. But new and fresh. Because Heroes is going nowhere. Good night for FOX (won the demos). 24 was up a bit with House in its lead in but House was down since last new episode (almost one million viewers and 0.2 in the demos). Down for Gossip Girl also, but I would not worry about it anyway. New episodes of Two and a half men made Dancing go down too, but also, I wouldn't worry about it either (although they are not American Idol numbers :P)
