American way

Is young people interested in politics? Reading the demos first reaction would be no, but. I guess numbers are not everything. I think young people proved taht they are interested in politics just in the right moment. That it, voting.
FOX was the only major network not programming Obama's speech. And it worked. Lie to me got the same (slightly better) numbers it did last week and the best part of all, it was a better lead-in for Idol than Obama would have been. Past Obama's speeches has proved that FOX is not the most followed network by far (ok ok...FOX News has a lot of viewers too) so I guess FOX decided not to kill American Idol programming Obama right before.
LOST was obviously up compared to last week episode (it was clip show) but down in viewers compared to last all-new episode two weeks ago. It's fair to say that demos were just the same for them.
